They say life begins at 40 but for me it was more like 60. It was then when I retired to Spain that I discovered the wonders of using a computer and from that moment on, my life took a big change.
Firstly I became interested in my ancestors and spent about 5 years working on my family tree and eventually buillt a website with the aid of my friend Jodi at Wildtype design.
Then just before last Christmas I changed from a “happy snapper” to a serious photographer using my little faithful digital camera but after an accident in which my dog knocked the camera out of my hand, my sons Philip and Justin bought me my Fuji Finepix for Christmas and from that moment on I became what I call a “camera nerd” never going anywhere without my faithful Fuji .
Through a photographic site I met a great photographer and artist Ave Hurley who has been a good friend plus my Mentor and Adviser in the huge world of photography and art online.
I have made so many friends across the world due to the WWWeb, some very special to me and they have all inspired me so much, that I now am a better photographer, I have taken up sketching and I also write poetry.
I will make a little journal about each friend to show how they have helped me to enjoy all the interests I now have and made it possible for me to have this website, without their help, advice and friendship it would not have been possible.
See category for RedBubble photographer friends too.

Hi Phil, What a coincidence I was going to add you to friends on the website but thought I would ask permission first, I would love to add you please, if you agree can you send me a copy of your Knight Templar (I love him) 800×600 size please, which I want to add with my poem I wrote for it and also another one of your choice to add to my gallery for friends art.
